The dining experience was excellent!Service excellent! The food was excellent! This was my third visit and this visit I had a party of 11, birthday celebration. My family and I enjoyed the dining experience.
The fish is very fresh but the steak is super good Not to stuffy but upscale dining Outside fire pit dining is cool too Be sure to have dessert it wonderful
The waiting staff is wonderful. You never have to wait on anything because the service is at a high standard.
I don't have enough good things to say. I was so pleasantly surprised by the meal, I am writing my review as I sit at the table, belly fully expanded, awaiting our check. The mussels were excellent. We loved the grouper as well. The lobster roll lacked lobster, but had excellent flavor. The crème brûlée was wonderful. Our server was so attentive and kind. She gave excellent recommendations. We love how small this space is, it provides for a less noisy atmosphere.
The ambiance is love. It's a black owned spot in the middle of Ackworth filled with the most diverse group of patrons. The environment is joyful, unassuming and inviting. The food is flavorful without being salty. The portions are plentiful. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming and they have something for everyone.
Delicious! Dessert first is the best route but everything is delicious from strawberry shortcake to warm pineapple cake to the bourbon bread pudding!! YUM YUM YUM!
I'm hesitate to post this but think I'm cheating the rest of you if I don't. I've tried lamb chops everywhere from Danette's at Carmel by the Sea to Ruth's Chris to Carrabba's and they do not hold a candle to Fish Thyme. Prepared medium and served with apricot mint jelly. And sided with there, vegetable medley, and kale salad. It's insane.
I love the posh Greek decor inside this restaurant. The servers are all top notch and so attentive. Very classy vibe. Highly recommend the desserts! Reservations are a must but if you don't have one, be there when they open at 5pm. Anything stuffed with crab is good and the kale salad is surprisingly yummy!
